The ServSafe® program is developed by the National Restaurant Association with the help of foodservice industry experts who face the same risks you do every day.
Our ServSafe Food Safety Managers course meets the CT Department of Health requirements for food safety licensing. Every food service operation is required by the State of Connecticut to employ both a Certified Protection Manager and an Alternate, whose responsibilities not only include food safety but staff training as well. Our instructors have an excellent record of success, with learners passing the ServSafe Manager exam on their first attempt. Our instructors will prepare you to get certified! The ServSafe Manager training is conducted in Connecticut in one 8-hour session or two 4-hour sessions in a professional, conference atmosphere.
Full Certification Class: 6-hour review with a National Restaurant Association approved instructor and then administering the 2 hour ServSafe Manager Food Safety exam. Includes ServSafe Manager book, practice test & lunch. $190
ServSafe Manager Self-Study If you don't have time to take the full class or just want to study on your own, choose our Self Study option and then come to class to take your exam. The self-Study option will include the book and proctored exam. Look for Self Study options on the class registrations. $145
Certification Only: If you only need to take the proctored exam, choose Certification Only on the registration page. $85

All registrations must be received one week prior to the class date. Upon receipt of registration, CakeSpell will mail the course materials to the address provided. Your materials should be reviewed prior to the class. The instructor will assume the student has read the textbook and completed the included Diagnostic Test before attending the course. For this reason, NO WALK-INS are permitted.
If you require an accommodation, please email cakespelldesigner@gmail.com to initiate the process. Please note, approval can take up to 7 days and we recommend starting the process 2 weeks prior to the exam date.
Cancellation Policy: This class is non-refundable, if you need to reschedule for any reason you must do so within 5 days of your scheduled class to be moved to another date. If you do not attend the class without proper notification you will be required to pay the $65 reschedule fee.
Online proctoring at home for the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Exam (English) is now available!
Schedule your exam at a time that’s convenient for you, all you need is a computer or laptop and a private location. The date you choose for registration is just for processing and will not be your exam date. The exam must be scheduled through Proctor U.
This bundle includes the ServSafe Manager online course and the 90-question online Food Protection Manager Certification Exam and online proctoring through ProctorU. The purchase of this bundle also includes administration, processing, and a ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification (valid for 5 years) upon successful completion of the exam.
Things you should know BEFORE you purchase this product:
The course should be completed before your scheduled exam date. The online course typically takes 8-10 hours to complete. There is no instruction on the day of the exam.
